Dr. Jan-Olav Henck is Advisor at Steps Bio, Inc., bringing over 30 years of global leadership in pharmaceutical R&D and manufacturing across Big Pharma, Generics, and CDMO sectors in Europe, the USA, and Asia. Prior to joining Steps Bio, he served as Chief Scientific Officer at SPIMACO, Saudi Arabia, where he led R&D, Regulatory & Medical Affairs, and Intellectual Property. His previous leadership roles include Senior Vice President at Syngene International Ltd., Vice President and Global Head of Pharmaceutical R&D at Bayer AG, and Chief Scientific Officer at Aptuit LLC. Dr. Henck holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Innsbruck and has completed postdoctoral research under the prestigious Alexander-von-Humboldt fellowship.

Bart is an entrepreneur and advisor to life sciences organizations, focusing on CDMOs, generics, and private capital. A former Senior Partner at BCG, he spent 25 years with the firm, including 17 in India founding its Healthcare Practice, before returning to Europe in 2022. He has advised leading global generics companies and CDMOs on growth, operations, M&A, and large-scale transformations, and serves as Senior Advisor to Oliver Wyman and on the Strategic Advisory Board of Stepsbio Inc., He holds an MBA from Chicago Booth and an MA in Applied Economics from KU Leuven.
